Eligibility Criteria for TG ECET 2025

Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements to appear for TG ECET [FDH & B.Sc. (Mathematics)] 2025 for lateral entry admission into:

1. 2nd-year regular B.E./B.Tech. courses (approved by AICTE) in University and Private Professional Institutions (both Minority & Non-Minority).
2. 2nd-year regular B.Pharmacy courses in University and Private Professional Institutions (both Minority & Non-Minority) approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.

Eligibility Requirements

1. Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian National.
2. Domicile: Candidates must fulfill local/unreserved status requirements as per AP Educational Institutions.
3. Educational Qualification:
   • Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:
     (a) A Diploma in Engineering & Technology/Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana or any other recognized equivalent Diploma.
     (OR)
     (b) A 3-year B.Sc. Degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognized University in Telangana or an equivalent qualification.
   • Final-year students (2024-2025 batch) are also eligible, but they must submit proof of qualification at the time of admission.
4. Sandwich Diploma Candidates: Candidates pursuing a sandwich pattern Diploma must complete their practical training before the counseling process for admissions.
5. Minimum Marks Requirement:
   • Candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy or B.Sc. (Mathematics) Degree with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates).
   • Candidates must have appeared and qualified in TG ECET 2025.
6. General Rule:
   • Mere appearance in the exam does not guarantee admission. Candidates must fulfill all eligibility and admission criteria as per official guidelines.

Admission Criteria for TG ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(Mathematics)] – 2025

Order of Preference for Diploma Candidates:

• Information Technology:
  • First preference will be given to candidates with a Diploma in Information Technology.
  • If seats remain vacant, candidates from any Engineering/Technology diploma will be considered based on their integrated merit ranking.
• Textile Technology:
  • Candidates must have completed a Diploma in Textile Technology (Design & Manufacturing) or Textile Technology (Knitting).
  • Additionally, they must have completed Intermediate or an equivalent qualification with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
• Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (EIE):
  • Candidates with a Special Diploma in Industrial Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering must appear for the TG ECET  2025 exam in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (EIE).
  • Admission is subject to eligibility conditions as per government regulations.

Qualifying Marks for TG ECET 2025

• Minimum qualifying marks to obtain a rank:
  • 25% of total aggregate marks (50 marks out of 200).
  • SC/ST candidates are exempted from the minimum qualifying marks requirement.
• SC/ST candidates who qualify under relaxed criteria will have their rank canceled if their category claim is found invalid during admission.

Fee Payment

The registration fee is ₹500 for SC/ST & PH candidates and ₹900 for others.

Application Fee payment can be done in two ways:

1. TGOnline Payment Center
2. Using Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking

TGOnline Payment Center:

• Visit the nearest TGOnline center with the following mandatory details:
  • Hall Ticket Number of the Qualifying Examination
  • Name of the Candidate
  • Father’s Name
  • Date of Birth
  • Mobile Number
• You will receive a receipt of payment containing Transaction ID from the TGOnline payment center.

Step-by-Step Online Registration Process

1. Application Fee Payment

1. Firstly, open Google Chrome / Internet Explorer (version 6.0 and above) and visit ecet.tgche.ac.in.
2. Click on ‘Application Fee Payment’.
3. Enter all mandatory details, check the declaration, select a payment mode, and click ‘Proceed to Payment’.
   
4. Use any Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking (VISA, MASTER, MAESTRO) to complete the payment.
5. Click ‘Pay’ to proceed to the Bank Payment Gateway.
   • Note: Do NOT double-click buttons, refresh the page, or close the browser during payment.
6. After successful payment, a confirmation message (Payment Successful) along with a Payment Reference ID will be displayed.
7. Click ‘Proceed to Fill Application’ to continue.

2. Fill the Application Form

1. Click on ‘Fill the Application Form’ on the homepage.
2. Enter the following details and click ‘Proceed to Fill Application’:
   • Payment Reference ID
   • Hall Ticket Number of the Qualifying Examination
   • Mobile Number
   • Date of Birth
     
     
3. The TG ECET 2025 Application Form will be displayed.
4. Fill in all the required details in the respective fields and check the Declaration Box.
5. Click ‘Save’ to store the information.
6. Click ‘Preview/Submit’ to view the application form before submission.
   
7. If any modifications are required, click ‘Modify’.
8. Finally, click ‘Confirm/Freeze’, and a pop-up message will appear:
   • “Your Application is confirmed successfully. Please note your Registration Number for future reference.”
9. Click ‘Print Application’ to save a copy for reference.
   

3. Print Your Filled-In Application Form

1. If a printout is required later, visit ecet.tgche.ac.in and click ‘Print Your Filled-In Application Form’.
2. Enter the required details and click ‘Get Application Details’.
3. Click ‘Print’ to take a printout of the application form or ‘Download’ to save a copy.
   

4. Know Your Payment Status

1. If the amount is deducted but the Payment Reference ID is not displayed, wait a few hours and check the payment status.
2. Click on ‘Know Your Payment Status’ on the website.
3. Enter:
   • Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket Number
   • Mobile Number
4. Click ‘Check Payment Status’.
5. If the Payment Status is “Success”, follow Step 2 and Step 3.
6. If the Payment Status is “Payment Details Not Found”, repeat Step 1.
7. Any deducted amount from a failed attempt will be refunded within 5 to 7 working days.

Evaluation and Ranking Process

• TG ECET 2025 ranks candidates based on their marks.
• Authorities implement strict measures to prevent errors in valuation, scrutiny, and ranking.
• They will not entertain requests for re-totaling, revaluation, or verification.
• Each engineering branch has a separate ranking for candidates.

Tie-Breaking Rules for Ranking:

• For Engineering Courses:
  1. Higher marks in Engineering subject.
  2. Higher marks in Mathematics.
  3. Higher marks in Physics.
  4. If the tie persists, the older candidate gets priority.
• For Pharmacy Courses:
  1. Higher percentage of marks in qualifying examination.
  2. If the tie continues, the older candidate gets preference.
• For B.Sc. (Mathematics) Courses:
  1. Higher marks in Mathematics in the entrance exam.
