Eligibility for AP DEECET 2025 Notification

Age

Candidate must have completed 17 years as of 1st September 2025. There is no upper age limit.

Education Qualification

To apply for admission, students must meet the following qualification:

Candidate must have passed or appeared for the Intermediate (or equivalent) examination.
Also candidate must have secured  50% marks for General and 45% marks for SC, ST, PH candidates.
Candidates who passed Intermediate with vocational courses are not eligible to appear for DEECET 2025.

Exam Pattern for AP DEECET 2025 Notification

The AP DEECET 2025 entrance test consists of 100 objective-type questions carrying 100 marks in total. The exam is divided into two parts: Part-A and Part-B.

Part-A: Common for All Candidates (60 Marks)

To begin with, Part-A evaluates your general aptitude and foundational knowledge from Classes VI to X based on the A.P. State Syllabus. It carries 60 marks in total.

7. Then, upload your scanned photo with signature.
8. Next, tick the declaration, enter the captcha code, and click Upload.
9. Now, fill in your details in the application form as per the instructions given.

The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has reopened the application process for 1,633 PGT (Computer Science) posts in the Rest of Haryana cadre and 78 posts in the Mewat cadre. Eligible candidates can apply online at hpsc.gov.in from 28 April 2025 to 2 May 2025 (5:00 PM).

candidates must have a Postgraduate degree in Computer Science and relevant teaching qualifications such as B.Ed., B.A. B.Ed., B.Sc. B.Ed., or an integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. depending on the percentage and regulations mentioned. The commission may also consider candidates who meet other eligibility norms, even if they do not have a B.Ed. degree.

Eligibility for HPSC PGT Computer Science Recruitment 2025

Age

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and not more than 42 years of age.

Education Qualification

Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Computer Science (Regular 2-year course), MCA (Regular 3-year course), or B.E./B.Tech. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology (Regular course) with at least 55% aggregate marks from a recognized university.
Additionally, they must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at the Matric level or as a subject in 10+2 / B.A. / M.A., and must hold a valid HTET/STET (PGT level) certificate.
Candidates must meet any one of the following criteria as per NCTE norms::
Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or equivalent) from a recognized university and B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.
Post Graduate with at least 45% marks (or equivalent) and B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.
Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or equivalent) and B.A. B.Ed./B.Sc. B.Ed. from any NCTE-recognized institution.
Post Graduation with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade in a three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. program.
Additionally, candidates who meet the above academic criteria but do not possess a B.Ed. qualification may also be considered.

Salary

The selected candidates will initially receive a salary of ₹47,600 per month, which will progress up to ₹1,51,100, as per the pay scale.
In addition, the commission will provide usual allowances as applicable from time to time, in accordance with government norms.

Selection Process for HPSC PGT Computer Science Recruitment 2025

1.Screening Test:

The exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions.
Approximately 80% of the questions will come from the concerned subject as per the syllabus. The remaining 20% will cover Educational Psychology, Pedagogy, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Numeracy, Data Interpretation, and Haryana GK (History, Geography, Polity, Economy, and Culture).
The total time for the exam is 2 hours. Each question carries equal marks. If no circle is darkened, 0.25 marks will be deducted. Also, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Also, If a candidate fails to darken any circle in more than 10% of questions, the commission will disqualify the candidate.
The question paper will be in English only.
The commission will call four times the number of advertised posts (category-wise), including bracketed candidates, to the next stage if they score at least 25% in the screening test.
Marks obtained in the screening test will not be counted for final selection. This test is used only for shortlisting candidates.

2. Subject Knowledge Test

The duration of the test is 3 hours.
The test carries 150 marks.
The paper will be conducted in English only.
The commission will call two times the number of category-wise posts for interviews, only if they secure at least 35% in this test.
The question paper will be in English only.
The subject knowledge test will carry 87.5% of the total weightage in the final selection

3. Interview / Viva-Voce

The interview will carry a weightage of 12.5%.
The final merit list will be prepared by adding the marks obtained in the subject knowledge test and the interview/viva-voce.
