NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Ltd., is actively involved in the renewable power and hydrogen generation business. Aligned with India’s growing energy demands, NGEL has set an ambitious goal to achieve a total installed capacity of 60 GW by 2032.
To meet this target, NGEL invites experienced professionals to join on a fixed-term basis for 3 years, extendable by 2 more years based on organizational needs. Selection Process
The selection process will follow a cumulative scoring system based on three key components: the Computer-Based Test (CBT), relevant work experience, and the interview performance.

- First, all applicants will appear for the Computer-Based Test (CBT), which consists of multiple-choice questions in both English and Hindi. The questions will cover:
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Verbal Ability
- Logical Reasoning
- General Knowledge
- Technical Skills (Subject Knowledge)
- The CBT will be conducted in the following cities: Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Vishakhapatnam, Gandhinagar, Lucknow, Jaipur, Bhopal, and Raipur. Based on CBT scores, you will be shortlisted for the interview stage.
- There will award 5 marks for meeting the minimum required work experience and 1 additional mark for each extra year of experience, up to a maximum of 10 marks.
- Shortlisted candidates will then attend an interview, which will further contribute to the final cumulative score.
- Next, a merit list based on the total cumulative score from CBT, experience, and interview will be prepared and appointment offers will be issued based on their rank in this list.
- Finally, selected candidates must pass a medical examination and be declared medically fit by a designated government hospital before joining.
