Director of Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE) which is located in Bengaluru invites applications for Apprenticeship Training for the Financial Year 2025–26 from the eligible canididates. The training opportunities are available for various categories including
- Graduate Apprentices (Engineering – B.E. / B.Tech. & Non-Engineering – B.Com., B.Sc., B.A., BCA, BBA),
- Diploma Apprentices, and
- ITI Apprentices.

- For Graduate and Diploma Apprentice positions (Engineering and Non-Engineering), only candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from 2021 to 2025 as regular students are eligible to apply.
- Those who passed before 2021 are not eligible.
- Also, candidates with higher qualifications than the prescribed eligibility are not eligible to apply.
Stipend for DRDO GTRE Apprentice Recruitment 2025
Engineering Stream:
- Graduate Apprentice (B.E. / B.Tech / Equivalent): ₹9,000 per month
- Diploma Apprentice: ₹8,000 per month
- ITI Apprentice: ₹7,000 per month
Non-Engineering (General Stream):
- Graduate Apprentice (B.Com / B.Sc / B.A / BCA / BBA): ₹9,000 per month
Selection Process of DRDO GTRE Apprentice Recruitment 2025
- The selection for Graduate Apprentice Trainees will be based on academic merit. Shortlisting will be done as per the available vacancies in each discipline and subject to satisfactory document verification.
- The list of shortlisted candidates will be published on the official DRDO website under the “What’s New” section.

- 10th & 12th Mark Sheets and Certificates
- All semester/year-wise mark sheets for B.E./B.Tech./Diploma/ITI/Degree (B.Com / B.Sc / B.A / BCA / BBA)
- Provisional Degree Certificate (PDC)
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- PWD Certificate (if applicable)
- Government-issued Photo ID / Aadhaar Card
- EWS Certificate (if applicable)
- Police Verification Certificate issued by the District Authority
- Registration certificate from NCVT/NATS portal (as applicable)
- Medical Fitness Certificate
- Bank account details with Aadhaar linkage (copy of the front page of the passbook)
