Eligibility Criteria
Age
As on 1st April 2025:
Deputy General Manager – Grade ‘D’
- Minimum Age: 35 years
- Maximum Age: 45 years
- Candidate should be born between 02.04.1980 and 01.04.1990 (both dates inclusive)
Assistant General Manager – Grade ‘C’
- Minimum Age: 28 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
- Candidate should be born between 02.04.1985 and 01.04.1997 (both dates inclusive)
Manager – Grade ‘B’
- Minimum Age: 25 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
- Candidate should be born between 02.04.1990 and 01.04.2000 (both dates inclusive)
Candidates belonging to the following categories are eligible for age relaxation:
- Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST): 5 years relaxation
- Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years relaxation

Selection Procedure
- Candidates will be screened based on eligibility criteria such as age, educational qualifications, and work experience as declared in the application form.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and/or Personal Interview (PI).

Pay Scale
The selected candidates will receive an attractive pay scale along with allowances as per the rules. The approximate monthly gross emoluments in metro cities are as follows:
- Deputy General Manager (Grade D) will receive around ₹1,97,000 per month. The pay scale for this post is ₹1,02,300 with annual increments, reaching up to ₹1,20,940 over a period of 7 years.
- Assistant General Manager (Grade C) will receive around ₹1,64,000 per month. The pay scale starts at ₹85,920 and progresses up to ₹1,05,280 in 8 years with regular increments.
- Manager (Grade B) will receive around ₹1,24,000 per month. The initial pay is ₹64,820 and it goes up to ₹93,960 over 12 years through structured increments.
