Applications are invited for the Telangana Post Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (TG PGECET 2025) for admission into Full-Time M.E., M.Tech., M.Pharm., M.Arch., and Graduate Level Pharm.D (P.B.) courses in Universities and Affiliated Engineering, Pharmacy, and Architecture Colleges in Telangana for the academic year 2025-26.

Admission Guidelines
PG Professional Programs
- GATE-qualified candidates will be given first preference for admission into various PG professional programs in institutions/colleges across Telangana.
- After admitting GATE-qualified candidates, the remaining vacant seats will be filled based on TG PGECET 2025 ranks in Merit Order.
- As per the AICTE Approval Process Handbook 2025, the eligibility criteria for admission into Engineering and Pharmacy courses require:
- 50% marks in group subjects in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category candidates).
- Candidates must fulfill all eligibility criteria as per the Government Orders (GOs) at the time of admission.
- Moreover, part-time/Sponsored PG programs do not fall under the TG PGECET 2025 admission process.
Graduate Level Pharm-D (PB) Course
- This is a 3-year graduate-level program in Pharmacy with B. Pharmacy as the entry qualification, approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
- Only TG PGECET 2025 qualified candidates are eligible for admission, which will be based on merit.
Eligibility Criteria
- Firstly, candidate must be an Indian National and also a resident of Telangana.
- Additionally, the candidate must satisfy the local/unreserved status requirements.
- Engineering & Pharmacy Courses: Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying exam (45% for reserved category).
- Distance Mode Degrees: Must have AICTE/Distance Education Council (DEC) approval.

TG PGECET 2025 Exam Pattern & Syllabus
Mode of Examination:
- The exam will be conducted only in online mode as a Computer-Based Test (CBT).
Exam Timings:
- Morning Session: 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon (Reporting Time: 08:30 AM)
- Afternoon Session: 02:00 PM – 04:00 PM (Reporting Time: 12:30 PM)
- Candidates must follow the Test Schedule for their specific exam date and session.
Exam Pattern:
- Duration: 2 hours
- Total Questions: 120 (Multiple Choice Questions)
- Marks per Question: 1 mark
- No Negative Marking for incorrect answers.
- Qualifying Marks: Minimum 25% (30 marks) is required to qualify, except for SC/ST candidates, who have no minimum qualifying marks.
- Rankings will be issued based on marks secured.

- The exam will be conducted only in English.

Registration Fee:
- General/OBC Candidates: ₹1100 per test
- SC/ST/PWD Candidates: ₹600 per test

- The system will redirect you to the Bank Payment Gateway for final confirmation.
- After you successfully make the payment, the system immediately generates a Payment Reference ID.
CHECK YOUR PAYMENT STATUS
- Click “CHECK YOUR PAYMENT STATUS” on the homepage.
- Enter Hall Ticket Number and Mobile Number.
- Click “CHECK PAYMENT STATUS” to verify.
Payment Status Verification
- If the Payment Status is “SUCCESS”, proceed with the application.
- If the Payment Status is “PAYMENT DETAILS NOT FOUND”, repeat the payment process. The deducted amount will be refunded within 5-7 working days.
FILL APPLICATION FORM
- Click on “PROCEED TO FILL APPLICATION”.
- Enter the Payment Reference ID, Hall Ticket Number, Mobile Number, and Date of Birth.
- Fill all mandatory fields.
- Click “SAVE” to store details.
- Click “PREVIEW / SUBMIT” to review the form.
- Click “MODIFY” if changes are required.
- Click “CONFIRM / FREEZE” to finalize the application.
- Take a printout of the filled application or note down the Registration number for future reference.
PRINT FILLED-IN APPLICATION FORM

- Enter Registration Number, Payment Reference ID, Hall Ticket Number, Mobile Number, and Date of Birth.
- Click “GET APPLICATION DETAILS”.
- Click “PRINT” to get a hard copy or “DOWNLOAD” to save the form.
Hall Ticket Download
- Hall Tickets must be downloaded from TG PGECET official website from 7th June 2025 (Saturday) onwards .
- Candidates without a Hall Ticket will not be allowed into the test center.

- Seats left vacant after GATE/GPAT admissions will be filled based on TG PGECET 2025 Rank/Percentile Score.
- A separate notification will be issued for GATE/GPAT qualified candidates for admission into M.E., M.Tech., M.Pharm., M.Arch., and Pharm.D (P.B.) courses.
