Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TG ICET 2025) for admission into MBA (Master of Business Administration) and MCA (Master of Computer Applications) programs for the academic year 2025-26. The courses are offered by University Colleges, Constituent Colleges, and Affiliated Colleges under the jurisdiction of the following universities in Telangana State:

  1. Osmania University (OU), Hyderabad
  2. Kakatiya University (KU), Warangal
  3. Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Nalgonda
  4. Palamuru University (PU), Mahbubnagar
  5. Satavahana University (SU), Karimnagar
  6. Telangana University (TU), Nizamabad
  7. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU-H)

Eligibility Criteria for TG ICET 2025

Nationality & Domicile

  • Candidates must be Indian Nationals and satisfy local/non-local status requirements as per Telangana Government Orders.
  • Non-Indian Nationals must meet the rules of the respective universities.

Education Qualification

Master of Business Administration (MBA):

  • The candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree of at least 3 years in any of the following disciplines:
    B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA, BBM, BCA, BE, B.Tech, B.Pharmacy, or any other recognized 3 or 4-year degree (excluding Oriental Languages).

Master of Computer Applications (MCA):

  • The candidate must have completed a BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, or B.A degree with Mathematics either at the 10+2 level or during graduation.

Recognition of Distance Learning Degrees:

  • If the qualifying degree was obtained through Distance Mode/Open Distance Learning (ODL), it must be recognized by the Joint Committee of UGC, AICTE, and DEC/DEB as per UGC Regulations of 2013 and 2020.

Age Criteria:

  • The minimum age to apply is 19 years as of the date of notification.
  • There is no upper age limit.

Minimum Marks Requirement:

  • Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks in their qualifying degree.
  • For reserved categories (SC/ST/BC), the minimum requirement is 45% marks.

Entrance Test Qualifying Marks:

  • General Category: Minimum 25% marks (i.e., 50 out of 200).
  • SC/ST Candidates: No minimum qualifying marks required.

Firstly to Apply Online candidate must make the payment of the registration fee.

TG ICET 2025 step-by-step Procedure

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

  • Open a web browser (preferably Google Chrome or Internet Explorer 6.0).
  • Go to icet.tgche.ac.in and press Enter or simply click on the link provided.

Step 2: Payment of Application Fee

  • Click on the “APPLICATION FEE PAYMENT” link on the homepage.
  • Afterwards a new page with Instructions will appear. Click on “CONTINUE” to proceed.
  • The “TG ICET 2025 Fee Payment” page will be displayed. There click on “YES” to continue to the payment page.

  • Enter the required details of
    • Candidate’s Name
    • Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number
    • Date of Birth
    • Candidate’s/Guardian’s Mobile Number
    • Email ID
    • Caste Category (if applicable)

Making the Payment

  • Choose your card type (VISA / MasterCard / Maestro).
  • Enter the required payment details:
    • Card Number
    • Expiry Date
    • CVV Number
    • Name on Card
  • Click “PAY” to complete the transaction.
  • Do not refresh or close the browser during the payment process.

Payment Confirmation

  • After a successful transaction, a “Payment Reference ID” will be displayed.
  • Save this ID for future reference. Later the page will automatically redirect to the next step.

Step 3: Checking Payment Status

  • Click on “PAYMENT STATUS” on the homepage.
  • Enter:
    • Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number
    • Candidate’s Mobile Number
    • Date of Birth
  • Click “CHECK PAYMENT STATUS”.

In Case of Payment Issues

  • If the payment is deducted but the receipt is not generated, check the Payment Status.
  • If the message “PAYMENT DETAILS NOT FOUND” appears make a fresh payment. The deducted amount from the first attempt will be refunded in 5-7 working days.

Step 4: Filling the Application Form

  • After successful payment, you can either Proceed immediately to fill the form by clicking “PROCEED TO FILL APPLICATION” or Fill it later by returning to the website.

  • Enter:
    • Payment Reference ID
    • Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket Number
    • Candidate’s Mobile Number
    • Date of Birth
  • Click “GET APPLICATION”.

  • Upload:
    • Recent Passport Size Photo (JPG/JPEG, max 50 KB)
    • Scanned Signature (JPG/JPEG, max 30 KB)
  • Check the Declaration box.
  • Click “SAVE”.

Step 5: Reviewing and Submitting the Application

  • Click “PREVIEW / SUBMIT” to view your application.
  • If there are any mistakes you can make changes by clicking on “MODIFY”.
  • If all details are correct, click on the button available as “CONFIRM / FREEZE”.
  • A confirmation message “Your Application Confirmed Successfully” will appear along with the Registration Number note it down for future reference.
  • Click “PRINT APPLICATION” to download or print a copy for your records.

Qualifying Marks for TG ICET 2025

  • The qualifying percentage of marks in the entrance test is 25% (i.e., 50 marks out of a total of 200 marks).

  • However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST), there is no minimum qualifying percentage of marks required.

Ranking Criteria for TG ICET 2025

Candidates will be assigned state-wide ranks based on their merit in TG ICET 2025. In case multiple candidates secure the same marks, the tie-breaking criteria will be as follows:

  1. Higher marks in Section-A will be given preference.

  2. If the tie still persists, marks obtained in Section-B will be considered.

  3. If the tie remains unresolved, the candidate’s age will be taken into account, with preference given to the older candidate.

Hall Ticket Download

The Hall Ticket is the very important document for attending the Exam. Candidates can Download it from the Official website of TG ICET 2025 from 28th May 2025 on wards.

Results

Firstly, after conducting the exam, the officials will announce the Preliminary Key on 21st June 2025. If you find any objections, you can raise them by paying ₹500 per objection, and the objection window will be open from 22nd June to 26th June 2025.

After reviewing the objections, the officials will release the Final Answer Key. Moreover the results will be announced on 7th July 2025.
