Eligibility Criteria for TG ECET 2025
Candidates must fulfill the following eligibility requirements to appear for TG ECET [FDH & B.Sc. (Mathematics)] 2025 for lateral entry admission into:
- 2nd-year regular B.E./B.Tech. courses (approved by AICTE) in University and Private Professional Institutions (both Minority & Non-Minority).
- 2nd-year regular B.Pharmacy courses in University and Private Professional Institutions (both Minority & Non-Minority) approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.
Eligibility Requirements
- Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian National.
- Domicile: Candidates must fulfill local/unreserved status requirements as per AP Educational Institutions.
- Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:
(a) A Diploma in Engineering & Technology/Pharmacy from the State Board of Technical Education of Telangana or any other recognized equivalent Diploma.
(OR)
(b) A 3-year B.Sc. Degree with Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognized University in Telangana or an equivalent qualification. - Final-year students (2024-2025 batch) are also eligible, but they must submit proof of qualification at the time of admission.
- Candidates must have one of the following qualifications:
- Sandwich Diploma Candidates: Candidates pursuing a sandwich pattern Diploma must complete their practical training before the counseling process for admissions.
- Minimum Marks Requirement:
- Candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering/Technology/Pharmacy or B.Sc. (Mathematics) Degree with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates).
- Candidates must have appeared and qualified in TG ECET 2025.

Admission Criteria for TG ECET [FDH & B.Sc.(Mathematics)] – 2025
Order of Preference for Diploma Candidates:
- Information Technology:
- First preference will be given to candidates with a Diploma in Information Technology.
- If seats remain vacant, candidates from any Engineering/Technology diploma will be considered based on their integrated merit ranking.
- Textile Technology:
- Candidates must have completed a Diploma in Textile Technology (Design & Manufacturing) or Textile Technology (Knitting).
- Additionally, they must have completed Intermediate or an equivalent qualification with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
- Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (EIE):
- Candidates with a Special Diploma in Industrial Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering must appear for the TG ECET 2025 exam in Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (EIE).
- Admission is subject to eligibility conditions as per government regulations.
Qualifying Marks for TG ECET 2025
- Minimum qualifying marks to obtain a rank:
- 25% of total aggregate marks (50 marks out of 200).

- Visit the nearest TGOnline center with the following mandatory details:
- Hall Ticket Number of the Qualifying Examination
- Name of the Candidate
- Father’s Name

- You will receive a receipt of payment containing Transaction ID from the TGOnline payment center.
Step-by-Step Online Registration Process
1. Application Fee Payment
- Firstly, open Google Chrome / Internet Explorer (version 6.0 and above) and visit ecet.tgche.ac.in.
- Click on ‘Application Fee Payment’.
- Enter all mandatory details, check the declaration, select a payment mode, and click ‘Proceed to Payment’.
- Use any Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking (VISA, MASTER, MAESTRO) to complete the payment.
- Click ‘Pay’ to proceed to the Bank Payment Gateway.
- Note: Do NOT double-click buttons, refresh the page, or close the browser during payment.
- After successful payment, a confirmation message (Payment Successful) along with a Payment Reference ID will be displayed.
- Click ‘Proceed to Fill Application’ to continue.
2. Fill the Application Form
- Click on ‘Fill the Application Form’ on the homepage.
- Enter the following details and click ‘Proceed to Fill Application’:
- Payment Reference ID
- Hall Ticket Number of the Qualifying Examination

- The TG ECET 2025 Application Form will be displayed.

- Click ‘Print’ to take a printout of the application form or ‘Download’ to save a copy.
4. Know Your Payment Status
- If the amount is deducted but the Payment Reference ID is not displayed, wait a few hours and check the payment status.
- Click on ‘Know Your Payment Status’ on the website.
- Enter:

- Click ‘Check Payment Status’.
- If the Payment Status is “Success”, follow Step 2 and Step 3.
