Eligibility for APSC JE Civil Recruitment 2025
- The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
Age
- As on 01-01-2025, interested candidate must have minimum Age of 18 years and maximum Age of 40 years.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years (up to 45 years).
- OBC/MOBC candidates: 3 years (up to 43 years).
- Ex-Servicemen: Maximum age limit is 42 years.
- Further relaxation of 3 years for OBC/MOBC and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD): 10 years, irrespective of caste category.
Education Qualification
- The candidate must have a 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering, OR Construction Technology, OR Planning from any technical institute recognized by AICTE.
- The diploma must be a regular full-time course. Diplomas obtained through Distance Mode of Education will not be accepted.
Salary
- The pay scale for the position ranges from ₹14,000 to ₹70,000.
- The grade pay is ₹8,700, and the pay band is Band-2.
- Additionally, allowances are provided as admissible under Assam Government rules.

- As proof, the candidate must upload a Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) issued in Assam for education/employment purposes OR an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.

- Age will be calculated based on the Date of Birth mentioned in Class X/XII Admit Card, Pass Certificate, or Marksheet (issued by a recognized Board/Council)

- Identity proof.
- All the documents like certificates, mark sheets, and ID proofs must be in .pdf or .jpg format not exceed 2 MB. It must be clear and legible for printing.
